Three Years of Archaeofaunal Analyses at the Haynie Site (5MT1905) with Jonathan Dombrosky, PHD

Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center and Museum will be hosting a free special guest lecture by Jonathan Dombrosky, PHD on Tuesday July 8 at 4:00 PM.  Much of Dr. Jonathan Dombrosky’s work focuses on the Haynie site, home of two out of four Great Houses found in southwest Colorado.  He will share findings from three years of zooarchaeological research, highlighting how animal remains—like bison and wolf—shed light on past Pueblo life and human- animal relationships.
