Area trading posts carry a variety of arts and crafts from across the Southwest, including Hopi Kachinas, Navajo and Apache baskets, pottery from the New Mexico pueblos, renowned Navajo rugs and exquisite Southwestern jewelry.
Mesa Verde Country is home to a pottery factory where Native American artists design, carve and paint intricate pieces of pottery. Salespeople are happy to educate and inform the first-time buyer or supplement the knowledge of a collector.
