On September 13, 2025, from 1 pm – 3 pm at the Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center – join Diane McBride for a captivating 75-minute lecture on the pottery traditions of Ancestral Puebloan communities in the region surrounding Canyons of the Ancients National Monument. Learn how to recognize distinctive styles, forms, and techniques, from Chapin Gray Wares to the intricate black-on-white designs of Mesa Verde.
Following the lecture, enjoy a 45-minute special viewing of pottery and other artifacts from the CANM Curation Lab in the Lowry Room, with Diane and monument staff on hand for Q&A.
