Celebrate Earth Day with a full day of community activities in Mesa Verde Country! Local organizations have teamed up to offer multiple ways to give back to the landscapes we love.
Volunteer cleanup opportunities are available throughout the day at various locations in and around Cortez and Dolores. Gloves and trash bags can be picked up at KSJD, the Cortez Rec Center, and the Welcome Center between 9 AM and 5 PM.
In the evening, stop by the Welcome Center from 4–6 PM to connect with Osprey and Leave No Trace, then cap off the day with a screening of “Rooted” at the Sunflower Theatre at 7 PM.
