Food is not only a basic need, but it reaches all people at a variety of different levels. During Food from the Heart: Tastings and Stories, eight local residents will share foods that have special meaning in their lives and tell their story behind the food. The finale will be a “tasting table” featuring dishes chosen from old Cortez community-produced cookbook. All will gather to share food stories and enjoy one another’s company.
